Year-End – or – Year-Round?

Seems like year-end is typically when we receive more calls from people who are trying to get “something” done quickly. And, typically that “something” is a project or process that truly shouldn’t be done so quickly. – I want to put a complete strategic plan together – by next week. I want to brand a new product – before Christmas. I need to re-do my website – and have it launch byJanuary 1.

We find that year-end is great in that we start to think about those “New Year Resolutions” not only for ourselves personally, but also for our business. BUT, wouldn’t it be great if we stepped back and did this throughout the year as well?

One of our mottos is “A failure to plan – is a plan to fail.”

So – if you’re getting the urge to get something done before year-end….. don’t let that urge pass you by. But,  don’t react, take a moment and respond – there is a difference.  Think it through and see how what seems to be an urgent item, could be the start of a new planning process for you – all year long.
